If you are in the business of moving things, like dogs and
boxes, or anything else for that matter, you might want to take a look at this
Mini Clubvan as an option to do your moving in some style.
The Mini Clubvan is considered to be the ‘world’s first
compact delivery van’ that takes inspiration from the Mini Clubman. The only
real difference is that the rear seats have been removed to offer a loading
compartment with a capacity of 860 litres and a payload capacity of 500kg. The
loading compartment is kitted out with carpeting and 12V sockets for electrical
equipment. Attachment loops secure precious cargo and a mesh partition separates
the driver’s cabin from the loading compartment. Access is made possible with two rear doors and a side door.
Three variants will be on offer when the Clubvan goes on
sale in Europe in August, all with differing power ratings. The variants
include the 72kW One Clubman, the 90kW Cooper Clubvan and the 82kW Cooper D
Clubvan, all with impressive fuel consumption figures as low as 3.9-litres/100km.
