The all new 2013 Chevrolet Spin MPV will be launched in
Brazil later this month and will go on sale in Indonesia in 2013. Additional
markets for the Chevy Spin will be announced at a later date.
The small MPV is designed for families on the go and offers
seating for either five or seven passengers. The Chevrolet Spin is flexible in
terms of carrying passengers or cargo and features great fuel economy according
to Chevrolet. “The Spin is a
great-looking, efficient and functional small MPV, and the only vehicle in its
class to offer a six-speed automatic transmission,” said Akerson. “Spin will be
affordable to purchase and – just as important – affordable to own” says GM
CEO, Dan Akerson.
Chevrolet expects the Spin to do well in global markets
alongside the Malibu, Colarado, Trailblazer, Cobalt and Cruze. In 2011
Chevrolet sold a record 4.76 million vehicles around the world with its top ten
markets being the United States, Brazil, China, Russia, Mexico, Canada,
Argentina, Uzbekistan, India and Colombia.
