Chrysler’s Luxury Series sedan has arrived in South Africa
and comes with a very long list updates that will keep you busy for a while.
The Luxury Series includes the 3.6-litre V6 petrol 300C, the 3.0-litre V6 diesel
300C and the performance brute in the form of the 300C SRT8. For an overview of

The SRT8 is fitted with a growling 6.4-litre Hemi V8 that’s
ready to rock your world with a thundering 347kW of power and 631Nm of torque.
That translates into a top speed in the region of 280km/h and a 0-100km/h
sprint time of less than 5 seconds. The SRT8 uses a 5-speed automatic transmission
and guzzles fuel at a rate at a of 13-litres/100km with a CO2 emissions figure
of 303g/km, not the most environmentally friendly car around, but hey, it is
what it is.
To complement its powerful engine, the SRT8 also features a leather heated steering wheel with a flat bottom and satin chrome rim. The interior also boasts a full colour EVIC with a range of performance options as well as an 8.4-inch colour touchscreen display. The front seats are heated and ventilated for driving comfort and feature active headrests. Carbon-fibre trim feature on the instrument panel, doors and gear lever and new brake and accelerator pedals are fitted as standard. Sound entertainment comes in the form of a 900 watt Harmon Kardon SRT performance audio surround-sound system with 19-speakers to blow your brains out. The SRT8 rides on 20-inch alloys.
