South Africa’s champion swimmer and Olympic gold medallist,
Cameron van der Burgh has received a brand spanking new Audi R8 V10 Spyder
valued at R2.3 million.
Cameron is not the only South African sportsman to benefit
from Audi’s generosity. Springbok, Francois Hougaard was also recently given an Audi R8 Spyder 5.2 FSI Quattro. However, Cameron will only have the R8 Spyder
for a couple of weeks before it’s replaced with an Audi RS5 Coupe.
Cameron van der Burgh is an Audi Ambassador alongside other
South African celebs such as singer-songwriter Lira, TV presenters Michael Mol,
Jeannie D, Jo-Ann Strauss and radio DJ Anela Mdoda.
“Audi SA is very proud of Cameron’s achievements, and our
longstanding relationship has enabled us to reward him in the best possible
way,” said Ryan Searle, head of Audi South Africa.
