Known as the ‘K9’ in South Korea and the ‘Quoris’ for export
markets, Kia’s flagship executive sedan is set to go on sale in overseas
markets towards the end of 2012. Whether the Kia Quoris will grace South Africa
with its presence is largely unknown although Kia SA are apparently
‘considering it’.
The Quoris is fitted with a 2.8-litre V6 engine that
produces 213kW and is mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Other
engine options such as a direct injection engine, a V8 or even a turbodiesel
option may be on the cards at a later stage, but who knows?
