The all-new Ford Focus ST will arrive in South Africa in the
fourth quarter of 2012 according to Ford South Africa and will bring a whole
lot of performance with it. The Ford Focus ST will be fitted with Ford’s 2.0-litre
EcoBoost engine that will produce 184kW and 350Nm of torque.
The efficiency of Ford’s EcoBoost engine is made possible by
high pressure direct injection, low-inertia turbocharging and Twin-independent
Variable Cam Timing (Ti-VCT) along with a revised exhaust system and air
intake.
Ford fans have plenty to look forward to when the Focus ST
becomes available later in the year so keep your ears and eyes open for more
details closer to the final hour.
