Fiat Ducato gets Upgrade



If you are in need of a good looking business vehicle to do your delivery rounds in, you might want to consider the updated Fiat Ducato for the job. The Ducato forms part of Fiat’s Professional Range and with 2.2 million sales worldwide since 1981, the Fiat Ducato has a big reputation to live up to.

Fitted with a 2.3-litre, 16-valve Multijet Common Rail diesel engine that produces 88kW at 3 600rpm with a maximum torque figure of 320Nm available at 2 000rpm, the Ducato is a serious mover. The combined-cycle fuel consumption is rated at 6.8-litres/100km, while it’s able to achieve 6.8-litres/100km on the open road.

A side sliding door is fitted as standard with a second sliding door available as an option. Two full-sized side-hinged rear doors provide rear-end access with a loading height of 1.79 meters.  On the inside the Ducato offers a car-like interior with driving controls centred around the driver for maximum comfort. Optional extras include but are not limited to cruise control, fog lamps, Radio CD player with MP3, parking sensors and My Port for Tom Tom and air-conditioning.  Prices for the Fiat Ducato start from R257 250.
